Julia Hansson has been with IVL since 2012 and before that she was working at Swedish Energy Agency assessing policy instruments for renewable energy and biofuels. She has a PhD in future bioenergy use and renewable fuels for transport in a European policy context, from Chalmers, where she also currently spends 40 percent of her time working with renewable fuels for shipping.

– I look forward to link my research more clearly to the Shift project and develop my project managment skills and collaborate with such an excellent team of Scandinavian researchers. Transforming transport is a challenging task and Shift has the potential to make an important contribution by catalyzing emerging trends in the Nordic region, says Julia Hansson.

Markus Wråke began his new job at Energiforsk October 1st. Yet still, he will remain spokesperson and research advisor in Shift.

– Julia will be an additional resource to Shift. We think that Markus’ change of job opens up new opportunities and that a potential loss is turned into a winning opportunity, says Torill Meistad, Nordic Energy Research.
