On September 29th, 2015, Nordic Energy Research, Nordic Innovation and NordForsk hosted a press briefing in Oslo for French, American and Swiss energy and climate journalists on a visit to Norway, Denmark and Sweden.

The Nordic countries’ achievement of a very low level of around 100g CO2 per kWh of electricity generated through close Nordic cooperation. In 2015 the Nordic countries are on average already down to the level that the whole world – according to the International Energy Agency – should be down to by 2040, if the 2 degree objective should be achieved.
