The Nordic Council of Ministers has commissioned a study aiming at identifying common interests
of the Nordic countries towards the EU’s heating and cooling strategy.

The Nordic countries have in many fields adopted an advanced market based approach, and demonstrate achievements in energy efficiency improvements and emission reductions in the heating and cooling sectors. This study will present the good practices from the Nordic countries, further development areas, and serve as a starting point for discussions concerning the different options for regulatory approaches in the heating and cooling market. The project also serves as a mean to share experiences between the Nordic countries and understand the specific conditions within heating and cooling sector in the Nordic countries.

The Nordic Working Group on Energy Efficiency welcomes you to the workshop where it will present its findings and look forward to relevant comments and proposals for the further work on the issue.
