The project Nordic Fire and Safety Network focusing on energy (NFSNergy) unites the major Nordic universities and research Institutes dealing with fire safety and risk management. It enables networking and exchange of PhD students and researchers, and arranges conferences, webinars, and teaching for professionals and summerschools.
It brings together multidisciplinary teams working on important energy-related initiatives promoting the fire safety of new bioenergy systems, energy storage systems in green buildings, improved digitalisation through Building Information Models in construction and the fire safety of new energy carriers in green transport systems. Furthermore, NFSNergy arranges summer schools for PhD students. Webinars and teaching for professionals are arranged as well as the biannual conference Nordic Fire and Safety Days.
