Conference on “Future Climate and Renewable Energy – Impacts, Risks and Adaptation”

The Nordic and Baltic conference on “Future Climate and Renewable Energy – Impacts, Risks and Adaptation” was held at the Soria Moria hotel in Oslo between the 31st of may and 2nd of June 2010.

Nordic Energy Research director Anne-Cathrine Gjærde opened the conference, kicking off three fruitful and productive days of discussions and presentations featuring some of the foremost climate change researchers in the region. The topics covered included: Past and present changes, Climate projections, Hydrological projection (including snow and ice), Climate change effects on renewable energy and Risks, potential and adaptation.
