Nordic Energy Research coordinates a project aiming to investigate the potential of using advanced sustainable biofuels for aviation in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. A consultancy agreement has recently been signed with NIRAS AS, Denmark, to perform a study. The project is financed by the Nordic Council of Ministers; the total budget is 1 350 000 DK and it will be finalized in 2016.
The project members are representatives from the National Energy Agencies and Ministries from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland, in addition The Nordic Council of Ministers secretariat and Cleantech Denmark participate.
