At Nordic Energy Research, Betty coordinates the Nordic Energy Challenge, overseeing event planning, integrating sustainable perspectives, increasing youth involvement, and ensuring equal rights are an integral part of the organisation’s work. She is also engaged in the Bioenergy Value Chain Programme.
Before joining Nordic Energy Research, Betty worked as a project manager for the Nordic Association in Denmark, leading a Nordic labour market project funded by the Nordic Council of Ministers. In this role, she assisted citizens in overcoming border barriers and integrating into the Nordic labour market while also gaining leadership experience as a middle manager. She has also worked as a translator.
Betty holds an M.A. in Learning and Innovative Change from Aalborg University in Copenhagen and a bachelor’s degree in pedagogy with a focus on the labour market, culture, and climate from both the University of Oslo and the University of Copenhagen.
