Invitation to the Working Group for Sparsely Populated Areas’ Information seminar

The Nordic Working Group for Sparsely Populated Areas (TBO) under The Nordic Council of Ministers has the pleasure to invite you to their information seminar on the 31st of October from 8.30 to 12.00 at Grand Hotel in Oslo.

TBO’s main task is to support the Nordic countries’ work in securing access to sustainable energy in areas that are either isolated or in the periphery of the central energy grid. This work happens through project activities, the exchange of experiences and the forming of networks across borders.

At this information seminar, the result of the groups work from 2010 to 2013 will be presented, including pumped storage, wind power based pumped storage in the Faroe Islands and green energy in shipping.  Further, The Nordic Council of Ministers’ information office in St.Petersburg will present renewable energy projects in Northwest Russia.

Date and time: 31st of October, 8.30 – 12.00, followed by lunch
