Nordic Energy Research at Arendal Week 2023

Nordic Energy Research is arranging two events at this year’s Arendalsuka (Arendal Week) – the largest political gathering in Norway where everyone are welcome to explore, debate, and solve the challenges of our present and future society.

On 16 and 17 August, Senior Adviser Kevin Johnsen and Adviser Astrid Bratli are attending the sessions to share experiences from Nordic Energy Research, in Nordens telt (the “Nordic tent”).

Please note that the events are conducted in Scandinavian languages.

16 August at 10:00–10:45 (CET): Kraftkrise har Norden løsningene?
The event “Energy crisis do the Nordics have the solutions?” will discuss how secure, affordable, and clean energy can be achieved, by way of Nordic co-operation and competence.

17 August at 13:00–13:45 (CET): Sameksistens – samtalene vi må ta!
The event “Coexistence the talks we need to have!” will address ways to step up the green transition through renewable energy expansion, while taking all stakeholders’ perspectives into account.
