The Energy Economics and Regulation group at DTU Management Engineering offers a position as PhD student in the area of regulatory frameworks for the integration of variable renewable energy in the Nordic energy systems.

The Energy Economics and Regulation group is part of the Systems Analysis Division which is placed within the Department of Management Engineering at DTU. The division conducts basic and applied research within the area of energy system analysis, policy instruments, energy demand, geography, economics, and climate science. Research focuses on how to form and create pathways to future renewable based energy systems and addresses national and international issues and covers the level of society as well as consumers and businesses.

The PhD shall run in parallel to the Nordic Flagship project: Flex4RES – Flexibility for Variable Renewable Energy Integration in the Nordic Energy System.
