All parties expressed enthusiasm after identifying areas of shared interest and mutual benefits. There was special interest for mobility of PhD students, and for technology transfer. For potential shared research activities, eMobility and Carcon Capture and Storage were given special attention.

Expectations are high for future collaboration and therefore it was decided that in 2020 there will be a follow-up event in Shanghai, where a Nordic delegation is invited to visit. This will be in relation to the planned Chinese-Nordic conference on smart energy and smart cities.

Nordic Energy research and Nordic Innovation hosted the event in Oslo.
